At Finish to Sell we understand how important it is for your home to look good. Looking good sells homes faster and for more money. That’s a fact! To stage well is to create warmth, space and light. It’s to create a “Wow” factor where none exists. It’s to get buyers through the front door the first time and back again. That’s what we do and we do it very well.
We also organize, de-clutter and refresh. We love the challenge and rise to each occasion.
Let us make your home stand out. Because…It’s All About The Presentation!
How We Work:
1-We visit your property to hear your goals and assess what needs to be done so that we can provide an accurate estimate.
2-We put together an estimate based on our time, hourly rate and costs for furniture, artwork, props, painting, etc. In some cases, a flat fee can be arranged.
3-Typically, we work with what you have and edit. However, we might need additional items to show your home at it's best. This could be bedding, pillows, accessories or additional pieces of furniture. Each job is unique.
4-We reserve time and begin work as soon as we receive a 50% deposit. Painters and other trades bill separately.
4- We are extremely expeditious. In many cases, we will be staging a property that is being lived in. We understand that time is of the essence.
5- Please read our testimonials.
We work more closely with you to de-clutter and create better storage solutions for your needs.
Living Rooms & Dens
Has your living room lost it's edge?
Don't worry, it’s all about the flow. Clean lines and an open space are key. We stage because we love the challenge that each home presents. This is our specialty.
Sorry, but that cozy patchwork comforter must go.
Keep it simple! Pillow it up with some nice decorative pillows, matching lamps, side tables, a nice chair and some flowers. Clutter distracts. It’s all about the space.
Staging Dining Rooms
Highlight a properties best attributes
We will enhance your space without distracting from a view or a beautiful fireplace.
Did someone say declutter?
Declutter. Declutter. Declutter! We will clear off your counters, clean up and organize your cabinets and drawers. A few key pieces and a pop of color will breathe life into your kitchen.
We get it….it’s hard to throw away those jeans!
Whether you’re cleaning out to sell or just because you need more room, we will create a neat, organized space.
NOTE TO SELF: You can never have too many shoe boxes.
Staging Estate Properties
Are things piled up on floors, under beds and on other surfaces?
Staging an estate property can be a daunting task for the novice. Sorting through the clutter and years of things saved, requires patience, purging, donating and dividing. Once this is done, it's time to rearrange the remaining furniture. A fresh coat of paint often outweighs the cost involved.
BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR PROPERTY ON THE MARKET
Are you worried about the expense of staging?
Studies show that your property will sell faster and for more money if you invest in it's presentation. Here are some common issues that should be taken care of before trying to sell a property:
• Cracked plaster
• Chipping paint
• Old paint
• Poor lighting
• Old coat hangers
• Stark or unappealing walls
• Overflowing medicine cabinets and closets
• Piles of clutter
• Mismatched knobs
• Worn or damaged furniture
• Unfinished repairs
• Bad smells
• Dust, dirt, mold
• Dirty windows
MANHATTAN & FRENCHMAN'S CREEK FLORIDA
I spent over 12 years as a real estate agent in Manhattan. If there is one thing I've learned it's this: You have onechance to make a first impression on buyers. If they don't like what they see, they're not coming back. In today's market, that first impression will most likely be made online. It’s crucial that your property looks the part or you will never get the foot traffic needed to get the price you deserve.
I loved selling real estate but found my real passion in preparing properties to market. Maximizing square footage, creating light and space, and adding warmth and color go far in transforming your home. It’s not enough to just look good—you have to stand out. Let us make your home stand out. Because …It’s All About The Presentation!
Not everyone loves purple walls. I learned that from customers who came to look at an apartment that I had for sale for many months. When the owner moved out, so did her cool looking furniture. With that wall color and nothing else the place looked very dark.
Amy and Marcia to the rescue! They came in and had the apartment painted white and cleaned it until it sparkled. Then they hung cheerful artwork, added a few pieces of inexpensive but attractive furniture and used decorative accessories in strategic places.
I got 2 offers in 2 weeks!
In some of my other listings they moved around existing furniture to make the rooms look their true size - bigger. New bed linens and fresh new towels in the bathroom made a world of difference. While a little goes a long way, Amy and Marcia do a lot! I would highly recommend Finish to Sell to make any apartment look inviting and current.
I have been selling real estate in Manhattan for 31 years and I wish that I had met them sooner!
