“I cannot recommend Amy highly enough to anyone looking to beautify their home, whatever the reason. Amy helped me prepare my apartment for a sale listing. I am a pretty neat person, and the apartment looked (I thought) nice. Amy had been recommended, so I felt it was worth the extra effort to get the apartment ready. Well, was I in for a wonderful surprise! In a matter of just four hours, Amy transformed the living space, bedroom, and kitchen — making everything both incredibly attractive and incredibly nice to live with. She did this by moving my own furniture, lights, and art around. I watched the evolution in my living space and kept thinking “why didn’t I know about you when I moved in??” Amy’s got a true artistic spirit. I plan to ask her for guidance and help wherever I move to, and much more regularly. I was thrilled with the results, and her work absolutely helped make the apartment more appealing.

Staging Living Rooms & Dens
Has your Living room lost it's edge?
Don't worry, you can find a desireable arrangement if you redistribute existing furnishings. Good spacial arrangement is the key. Move things around and away from walls. Add colorful pillows and accessories and get rid of all clutter especially on floors and tables.
That cozy patchwork comforter must go (into storage)!
When staging a bedroom-think hotel. Keep it simple! Pillow it up with some nice decorative pillows. Matching lamps and side tables, a nice chair and some flowers. Keep the bedding simple. White hotel bedding always works!
Staging Estate Properties
Are things piled up on floors, under beds and on other surfaces?
Staging an estate property can be a daunting task for the novice. There is usually an abundance of clutter and years of things saved. It requires patience, sorting, dividing, donating and purging. Once this has been done it's time to organize the remaining furnishings. Often the benefits of a fresh coat of paint outweigh the cost involved and in the long run the property will most likely sell for a higher price.
To do list before selling
Are you worried about the expense of staging?
Studies show that your property will sell faster and for more money if you invest in it's presentation. Here are some common issues that should be taken care of before trying to sell a property:
First clean up and then organize cabinets and drawers so that you can remove as much as possible from counter tops. This will give you more room to work and play and will look amazing when entertaining or showing.
Organizing Closets & Shelves
Afraid to open your over flowing closets or drawers?
Don't worry! There are three simple steps that will have an immediate impact: Matching hangers, color coordinating clothing and buttoning top buttons.
Not sure what to do with empty or overflowing shelves?
Collect decorative objects from around the property or purchase inexpensive items. Arrange artistically, removing paperback books from key display shelves and showcasing decorative or hard cover books. Color coordinate or mix it up. Have fun.
NOTE TO SELF: You can never have too many shoe boxes-buy extras!
De-cluttering desks and More
Is it hard to see the surface of your desk?
With solutions from the container store you can organize and store the things you do not need to keep out. This before and after is a work in progress. Stacking tray solutions for for papers, cord organizers and other solutions will be added to complete this desk organization.
